it has only taken me 3 years ( proof that you should never give up on your dreams) but my tv series The Conversation , is premiering Jan 2012 and alongside the show something of equal importance , is launching which is the companion web site.
The site will feature some amazing unique content , not to be found anywhere else including stories and resources on a whole bunch of subjects and this is where I need your help...
If you would like to support me and be a part of this project please contribute your story about anything that is significant to you and please remember to share any solutions that have worked for you !!
Your voice is a crucial part of the Conversation and without it we will not be representing all voices ,so I hope you will participate in some way...
Our deadline is January 15th for all contributions and all I ask is that your try and touch on one of the important emotional areas that the platform is focused on:
|
If you love to write, 1000 words will do. If you prefer the casual comfort of your webcam, we know web viewers last about 2-3 minutes, even with the most engaging speakers! Whatever you choose, your submission will be most appreciated and will be living along side contributions and interviews with Jane Fonda, Lady Gaga , Diane Von Furstenberg , Gwyenth Paltrow , Melissa McCarthy, Senator Kristen Gillibrand and many other notable ladies.
Please help us make this site a fun, informative, and authentic place to share stories and experiences.
If you have any further questions please email us at demiandamanda@theconversation.tv
Thank you so very much and i look forward to hearing your stories!!

This blog is a journal of my experience on the hCG diet that I will update as I continue my journey to a healthy body and lifestyle. It’s a method of being held accountable, but hopefully also supporting anyone else who is on (or thinking of going on) the hCG Diet. Once I reach my goal weight I will upload the "Before" photo from January of 2010 when I was in Costa Rica and "After" photo from the day I reach my ultimate goal weight of 140 lbs. While my initial goal was to reach 140 lbs by September 1st, 2011, I obviously have not made that goal. However, I am achieving a much greater milestone of reaching that goal by doing it in a healthy manner over a reasonable period of time, which gives me a better opportunity to maintain that weight once I get there.
UPDATE:
9/27/11 – Weight: 157.2 / BMI: 26.84. Total melted off = 38.8 lbs. Only 11.2 lbs until I reach “normal” status. Getting there! Although I must say I am confused as to how this is working considering how I am eating on this diet. Waking up at 4am with extreme abdominal pains followed by sitting on my porcelain throne for 90 minutes may have had a lot to do with it. At least I finished the book I was reading. Haha! In all seriousness though, I think I need to lay off the Dieter’s tea for a while. You’re not supposed to ingest Senna tea for more than 10 consecutive days and this, combined with my lactose intolerance, are the culprits for my digestive pains today.
9/26/11 – Weight: 158.5 / BMI: 27.06. Total loss thus far is 37.5 lbs and 46.5 inches. I’m not certain if I want to continue eating "off-diet” foods or if I should stick to the allowed foods. So today I will stay “on-diet” and see what my results are tomorrow morning at my weigh-in.
9/25/11 – Weight: 159.6 / BMI: 27.25. I’m totally fascinated by these results from the foods I have been eating!!! According to this…

As women, can't we do away with the idea that in order for us to succeed, another has to fail? That competitive aspect, in my opinion, prevents all women from reaching our potential. I believe that if we do away with this notion, through action…Continue
